Eliminate mechanical noise of gear system

Our customers especially in the vehicle audio areas had problems that end-users hated mechanical noise which reduced impression value of products. One of our historical major solutions in customers' industry is reducing noise of gearing.
Our proposed countermeasures to improve it are redesigning gear module, wall design such as thickness/rib and material property, based on our lot of experience and by gear designable CAD. The results of this optimization have satisfied customers and it has been applied to mass-production.

Resinification of optical disk player turntables

Geometrical accuracy of CD/DVD turntables manufactured in our history realized replacement of material from metal as a conventional material to plastic as an advanced material in that field.

In order to accurately read the information on the optical disk, it is necessary to maintain exact plane face runout which displacement allowance of 70 μm for CD players and 50 μm for DVDs, and for this reason machined metal was conventionally used for the turntable. We worked on resinification of the turntable specified to in-vehicle optical disk players according to customer's request such as lightening and cost-reduction.

We fabricated molds with high perpendicularity between the table coordinate plane and a central core pin/motor shafts by our unique mold-making and by geometry verification, and succeeded producing plastic turntables with 30 μm face displacement for CD player and also 25 μm for DVDs.

Design and manufacturing of required screw torque

Positioning of lens on imaging LSI (CCD, CMOS sensor) of digital camera devises becomes tighter according to downsizing the devises. A few micro-meters or tighter positioning by mechanism of screw adjustment between a male screw of lens frame (inner) and a female (outer) screw of housing is required in recent cameras.

We have lot of experience of the design process and the mold-making to fabricate precision female screws with stable torque that realized by multi-cavity unscrew molding. Design and manufacturing the lens housings/holders with the female screw that fit to customer supplied male screws with optimum tolerance for suitable and uniformed screwing torque is available.

In-vehicle lens housing with airtight sealing

Any device for vehicle requires high weather resistance. In case of vehicle mounted rear view monitors/cams, sealing structure with reliable weather resistant to protect camera system is required. Lens housings of the cameras we are supplying are a glass reinforced plastic case with geometric completeness for uniformed sealing pressure between lens and the case.

Even though some factors such as complex design and anisotropic material shrinkage caused deformation disturbing exact engaging of lens and housing, we applied precision compensation process with measurement and feedback for the molds, and then succeeded producing housings with better than 20 μm circularity.

Boxy housing case with airtight seal-weldable tetragon side walls

We are producing and supply boxy housing cases to be airtight seal-welded at the wall top to other assembly piece. In general, tetragon side walls of injection molded boxes have warpage due to a plastic melt flow, distribution of shrinkage and/or fiber orientation and this warpage often causes leakage from seal part.

Our boxy housing cases enabled durable sealing through geometrical compensation of mold shape by measurement & feedback.
